Location: Forbach, Vācija

You want to go and see something, but don’t know any places, so what you do? You can watch TV, read newspaper or just look in Google maps what stands out and is near to you...
What we found was Schwarzenbachtalsperre, you can search it on Google maps, and see how big it looks from there. So we realized how incredible it would look in real life and decided to drive there.
Schwarzenbachtalsperre – is from Lahr about 80km, on the way we was in Wolfach, in Freudenstadt (I need to put out photos)

(Danke Wikipedia )

Schwarzenbachtalsperre is near Forbach in Nordschwarzwald, it’s an importing building - Pumped storage power plant (I hope that translation is correct) Rudolf-Fettweis-Werk. Build in 1926.

View from Schwarzenbachtalsperre is amazing, I could just stand and enjoy it endlessly….
Sicht aus Schwarzenbachtalsperre ist erstaunlich, Ich konnte genieße das endlos…

Happy New Year!!!

Click here for more graphics and gifs!Click here for more graphics and gifs!Click here for more graphics and gifs!

There’s nothing much left from this year to hold in our arms. It’s warming our hearts and will close another fairytale chapter with colorful lights in night skies. Everything will be better, there is no other way around, let yourself believe it, even if this year wasn’t so bright. Take only who and what you love with you, nothing else matters. Open your heart and mind for new journey, people, feelings, ideas.

I wish that for you next year will be a beginning of something big, beautiful, amazing and all that you want will come true!!!

So you want to learn German?

I have seen so many people who want to learn German language, but keeps on complaining that German language is so hard, a nightmare, illogical and etc. The most of them just try once and if they fail, they stop there and start to justify their fear, laziness, and reasons with blaming German language. All they have is this wanting, you won’t see them making a step forward. I’m not saying this about everyone… I’m just a bit angry…

You want to learn German?
I have some tips for you, I hope they will help…

  1. Stop wanting to learn, start to learn. Don’t give it one try, give as much it’s possible – can’t get over a wall? Then keep on trying, until you will get over or brake through or even make a ladder.
  2. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. You’re a human, you learn as your mind analyses your mistakes and makes conclusions. Stop saying – I’m afraid, I won’t speak in German. People in Germany are very nice and polite, they appreciate when you try to speak in German. No one will hit you for your mistakes, so relax.
  3. Stop translating – it’s not so important to know, what means each word in sentence or in text, the most important thing is to know, what about is this sentence, text. When you need to read something in German, read it first, there will be something you understand and then only grab your dictionary.
  4. Watch German TV – image + words, is one of the best ways to learn. The more you will watch, the sooner you will notice that some words will stuck in your head. Even better is to rewatch in German, what you have seen in you native language, because you’ll know about what story is.
  5. Play games. It maybe sounds funny, but I’m sure we like and remember more when we have fun. In internet I’ve found bunch of German learning games, which are fun and funny. If you’re a gamer you can challenge yourself and play games in German language.
  6. Use it! Using German language is not only speaking in it. It’s also reading, listening and writing. Writing is the most what takes your time, power, tests yours patience. But it’s the best way to learn, because when you try to write – you use what you know, you search words that you need, you fight with mistakes. And through your hard work, you will get more and more into it.

Learning language is a challenge, you can’t learn it in a few days, weeks, months, it takes years to understand and use it without problems. But to master it completely and use it like a second mother language – your lifetime. We learn all the time, as we live, it’s our human nature.
Don’t give up! It’s all that matters, you can stop and take a rest, it’s not an endless race – all that you know depends only on you. Just don’t forget your path and reasons why you’re on it, because all time that you spend to learn a language won’t be in vain.

Mittelaltermarkt in Schmieheim (fighting with swords) video

Location: Schmieheim, 77971 Kippenheim, Vācija
Here is the video, it’s filmed with phone camera, so quality is not high... still I hope it’s interesting to watch :)

Mittelaltermarkt in Schmieheim (Middle age festival)

Location: Schmieheim, 77971 Kippenheim, Vācija
In 12.08.2012 was a Middle age festival, market in Schmieheim. It was fun to see Middle age armor, weapons, costumes, tents, music, there was a really nice atmosphere. I was so happy to be there, even if it was a small Mittelaltermarkt, I hope next summer to go on bigger ones. I really love Middle age stuff, especially swords.
The most I liked the performance on the stage – fights with swords, even with an axe, it was impressive, in some moments even funny. I have filmed so much I could, now only need to put it together in one video.

Third advent

It’s already third advent, time is running very fast. It’s time that you should spend with people you love and don’t mind this insane waiting for the end of the world.
How many times this ends of the worlds, times, days have simply passed by? Countless…
And now, in my eyes, people who’re waiting this end are only wasting time, time that could be spend with family, friends, having fun, but they only give in chaos…

Wait for Christmas, wait for a miracle, for happiness from the childhood to return…
