Triberg - Part 2

Location: Triberg, Germany
Triberg is not only a town located in the middle of Black forest (schwarzwald). It’s popular and known for being a part of Clock street (Uhrenstrasse) with the largest worlds cuckoo clock and Germany’s highest waterfall.

In Triberg is located Germany’s highest waterfall. The waterfall is 163 m high counting all cascades. There are a few ways to reach it, some take 30 minutes, some a few hours, if you’re wiling to take a walk and enjoy nature.
The entrance is from Triberg itself, as it leads you to bottom of it, opening a beautiful and a full view at waterfall.
The entrance costs 3,50 Euro for a adult and 3,00 Euro for children, also you can buy there peanuts for squirrels for 0,50 Cents and try to feed them. It’s may feel a bit strange to pay money for a nature’s masterpiece, but you’ll see all the trails, bridges and upkeep.
There are many trails that you can follow to get higher and get a better view. But the most point – enjoy it.

Thanks for visiting my blog :)

Triberg - Part 1

Location: Triberg, Vācija
Triberg is not only a town located in the middle of Black forest (schwarzwald). It’s popular and known for being a part of Clock street (Uhrenstrasse) with the largest worlds cuckoo clock and Germany’s highest waterfall.

On my way to Triberg, I already noticed the Uhrenstrasse (Clock street) signs. I was wrong thinking that Uhrenstrasse is only located in Triberg, it’s only a part of it.
You can see the Uhrenstrasse completely here. (From http://photobucket.com/)

The Triberg clock street – how you can guess, it’s a street full of cuckoo clocks, Kuckucksuhren in German language. Cuckoo clocks shops, cuckoo clocks on houses, everywhere… Also you can buy cuckoo clocks and souvenirs there, maybe prices are a bit higher, but well it’s made for tourists.
It’s an atmospheric place, it gives you some kind of nice feeling, which one I can’t really explain. But like some will say - there’s no more black forestish (schwarzwaldish) place ever. :D Maybe that explains it. :)

Also you can see there beautiful and interesting woodworks or woodcarvings. To hear the waterfall in the background.

I must be honest, I didn’t found out which one is the largest worlds cuckoo clock. So that’s my task for the next visit. Sorry for that…

Beautiful and amazing black forest (schwarzwald) mountains.

Location: Švarcvalde
True beauty and wonder can only be behold trough your own eyes and photos can give you only a slight sight of it.
The road that we took trough black forest (Schwarzwald) mountains was amazing, those mountains, landscapes, small villages, castles. I couldn’t possibly photograph everything, only in the places, where we managed to stop.
Our way was from Lahr – Waldkirch – Elzach – Triberg. Sometimes is better to leave the highway and to take a road trough small villages.
I hope you’ll enjoy the photos. :)

Amazing view near Triberg, Schwarzwald, Germany.

1100 meters above sea level. True beauty you can only enjoy being there, feeling the wind and letting eyes take it all in.
In other words I was on a ride, that amazed me over and over, the count of mountains I saw, the beautiful views. I also saw the highest waterfall of Germany, which one is in Triberg. Don’t worry I will publish it all very soon.

A test filming with my new Digital camera - Sony Cyber-shot dsc h200. Well, maybe, not the best conditions - sun, wind, my hand shaking a bit, but I'm learning.
