Chrysanthema Lahr 2013 photos - Part 2

Location: Lahr, Germany

More chrysanthemums and compositions from them, weather wasn’t bad, but still sky remained cloudy. I hope that I took photos of the most compositions :)
I really like and enjoy Chrysanthema Lahr, it’s like suns light and warmth gathered in these flowers - chrysanthemums, something that you truly need in these cloudy and rainy days.

Chrysanthema Lahr 2013 photos

Location: Lahr, Germany
The weather wasn’t the best, but it didn’t stop from enjoying the beautiful and bright chrysanthemums and compositions from them. I was hoping that on working day could be less people, so I could make photos in peace, but I was wrong. Still I’m happy that people really like and visit this festival. So, please, don’t mind some people on photos.
I haven’t taken photos of all compositions and flowers, because it started to rain, so I hope make more shoots on a better day.

Chrysanthema Lahr 2013

Location: Lahr, Germany

It’s nice to see, that Lahr is being decorated for Chrysanthema Lahr 2013, it’s nice to see how our city, again, turns in to a flowering field. And I really hope for a good and warm weather, especially for weekend, because this year October is a bit colder, than in previous one.
Chrysanthema Lahr 2013 begins with a grand opening on 19 October and lasts until 10 November. So there’s a lot of time to visit Lahr and see it, also there’s plenty of events to come.

Here you can see a plan of the Chrysanthema Lahr 2013 - http://goo.gl/VFAiDQ

Triberg - Part 2

Location: Triberg, Germany
Triberg is not only a town located in the middle of Black forest (schwarzwald). It’s popular and known for being a part of Clock street (Uhrenstrasse) with the largest worlds cuckoo clock and Germany’s highest waterfall.

In Triberg is located Germany’s highest waterfall. The waterfall is 163 m high counting all cascades. There are a few ways to reach it, some take 30 minutes, some a few hours, if you’re wiling to take a walk and enjoy nature.
The entrance is from Triberg itself, as it leads you to bottom of it, opening a beautiful and a full view at waterfall.
The entrance costs 3,50 Euro for a adult and 3,00 Euro for children, also you can buy there peanuts for squirrels for 0,50 Cents and try to feed them. It’s may feel a bit strange to pay money for a nature’s masterpiece, but you’ll see all the trails, bridges and upkeep.
There are many trails that you can follow to get higher and get a better view. But the most point – enjoy it.

Thanks for visiting my blog :)

Triberg - Part 1

Location: Triberg, Vācija
Triberg is not only a town located in the middle of Black forest (schwarzwald). It’s popular and known for being a part of Clock street (Uhrenstrasse) with the largest worlds cuckoo clock and Germany’s highest waterfall.

On my way to Triberg, I already noticed the Uhrenstrasse (Clock street) signs. I was wrong thinking that Uhrenstrasse is only located in Triberg, it’s only a part of it.
You can see the Uhrenstrasse completely here. (From http://photobucket.com/)

The Triberg clock street – how you can guess, it’s a street full of cuckoo clocks, Kuckucksuhren in German language. Cuckoo clocks shops, cuckoo clocks on houses, everywhere… Also you can buy cuckoo clocks and souvenirs there, maybe prices are a bit higher, but well it’s made for tourists.
It’s an atmospheric place, it gives you some kind of nice feeling, which one I can’t really explain. But like some will say - there’s no more black forestish (schwarzwaldish) place ever. :D Maybe that explains it. :)

Also you can see there beautiful and interesting woodworks or woodcarvings. To hear the waterfall in the background.

I must be honest, I didn’t found out which one is the largest worlds cuckoo clock. So that’s my task for the next visit. Sorry for that…

Beautiful and amazing black forest (schwarzwald) mountains.

Location: Švarcvalde
True beauty and wonder can only be behold trough your own eyes and photos can give you only a slight sight of it.
The road that we took trough black forest (Schwarzwald) mountains was amazing, those mountains, landscapes, small villages, castles. I couldn’t possibly photograph everything, only in the places, where we managed to stop.
Our way was from Lahr – Waldkirch – Elzach – Triberg. Sometimes is better to leave the highway and to take a road trough small villages.
I hope you’ll enjoy the photos. :)

Standing and breathing over 1100 meters above sea level!!!

Amazing view near Triberg, Schwarzwald, Germany.

1100 meters above sea level. True beauty you can only enjoy being there, feeling the wind and letting eyes take it all in.
In other words I was on a ride, that amazed me over and over, the count of mountains I saw, the beautiful views. I also saw the highest waterfall of Germany, which one is in Triberg. Don’t worry I will publish it all very soon.

A test filming with my new Digital camera - Sony Cyber-shot dsc h200. Well, maybe, not the best conditions - sun, wind, my hand shaking a bit, but I'm learning.

Life’s going only forward…

I haven’t been publishing anything in my blog for awhile, but it doesn’t mean that I forgot about it. Nope. Everything changes…
I can happily say that I GOT B1 CERTIFICATE IN GERMAN LANGUAGE and in September I start the next course for B2. Well it won’t be easy, but I will try my best.
The next news is that I FINNALY GOT A DIGITAL CAMERA!!! :) It’s Sony Cyber-shot dsc h200. And that means better quality pictures and videos. Also I’m learning how to properly use it for macro, different lighting, filming etc.
Oh and I also have a pet now – a cute, small, adorable rat, that dislike photo sessions, but with time you will see her.

Thanks for all, who visit my blog. Bis bald!

Excursion in Gengenbach: Part 2 – Old Town

Location: Gengenbach, Vācija
Old Town is always the heart and the true beauty of city. In Gengenbachs old town you can feel the touch of medieval age and the spirit of Carnival (Fascnacht), which flows trough style and some unique beauty. Old town, city by itself and everything around is really picturesque, it’s giving a feeling that it all can be only this way – mountains with grape vine, shining towers, German style houses…
I enjoyed everything till smallest things…
There’s nothing left to say, only to look…

In beautiful summer weather you just can’t sit home. There’s so much to see around. And this time we visited a wonderful and astonishing city – Gengenbach. It’s only 20 km away from Lahr and I already heard the good impressions about it.
At first we made a walk in a park - Gastätte Schneckenmatt, it’s open for everyone. There’re animal like Strauss, goats, rabbits, many different birds and a pond with Koi. And believe me feeding Koi is really fun. :)
Next part – tomorrow, because I’m really tired.
