Fasnacht
and Narrentag it’s all about costumes, masks, humor and fun. It’s the way
people scare away winter and have really fun. Fasnacht is full of jokes,
pranks, nothing can be taken serious, Narren (the ones in costumes) can say
anything about anyone. From German language Narren means a bit crazy, foolish,
someone like a joker or a jester.
I think the
main reason why children love Narrentag it’s for the candy, that Narren are
throwing around. Also it’s nice to see children as small Narrens, the next
generation.
